Jason Wood said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team here at Mackays Hotel and am looking forward to bringing some new fresh ideas and influences to the menu, developing the team and introducing them to new techniques and ingredients.”
Mackays Hotel has a fine dine restaurant and also No1 Bistro, which is located on the shortest street in the World as recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records. Murray Lamont, Owner of Mackays Hotel said: “Jason is a very welcome asset to our team, bringing with him his vast experience which has been gained working all over the world. He will be injecting an international slant to our menus and his previous experience as a tutor will help us to develop the younger members of our team which is incredibly important to us.”
Last year Mackays Hotel achieved the Investors in Young People Accreditation, the only people management standard that focuses on an employer’s recruitment and retention of young people. This represents a true commitment to the training and development of young people and demonstrates Mackays is an employer of choice for young people.
