For over a decade now, Mackays hotel has put the training and development of our younger staff at the heart of our business. We want our staff to feel valued and our customers to enjoy the best experience possible when they visit. We make sure this happens by pushing for continuous improvement and upskilling!

We know how good our service is and are proud to put it to the test. We take part in continuous development with the World Host Training, making sure that we always live up to our World Host Centre of Excellence title (the first hotel in the UK to earn one!).

But that’s not all – we love fresh ideas, which is why we are so involved with apprenticeship and graduate placement schemes like Modern Apprenticeships and ScotGrad. Welcoming these young people into our team means everyone learns something new!

With International Youth Day next week, we want to celebrate the achievements of the youngest members of Mackays Hotel and look forward to seeing them progress even more!
