Dunrobin Castle

As you have already realised. If there is one thing that we are not short on here in Scotland, it is castles. Known as the Jewel in the Crown of the Highlands, the magnificent Dunrobin Castle is an unmissable path into the history of the North.

Dunrobin Castle has been inhabited since the 1300s, which makes it one of the oldest continuously inhabited houses in Britain. In fact, it has been home to some of the most recognised Earls and Dukes of Sutherland over the centuries.

Rumster Forest

 If you are looking for a great place to take a family walk, then you can’t go far wrong with Rumster Forest. Found near Lybster. This woods not only takes you through the very heart of the Scottish Highlands but it also allows you to get up close and personal with Roe Deer, Buzzards and maybe even a horse or two!

Caithness SeaCoast

If you like your activities a little more adrenaline packed, then why not book a sea faring trip with Caithness SeaCoast! Taking to the water in a Rigid Inflatable Boat you will be able to see so much of the local area, including castles, wildlife and the beautiful harbour. All whilst having a pretty exciting time.

Caithness Wildlife Tours

One of the most popular things about the Caithness area has to be the beautiful and diverse wildlife. If you want to discover the animals that the Highlands has to offer, then one of the best ways is to sign up for a wildlife tour.
