Gay couple Stefan and Sebastien and have been traveling the world together since 2014 after leaving their lives in London and chose Mackays Hotel as their base in Wick.

“Mackays was our base in Wick for explaining the Northern Scottish coastal area. It’s a gorgeous very recognisable building in Wick, with the shortest street in the world (Ebenezer Place).

Staff are all absolutely wonderful and very polite. The restaurant here is also worth checking out whether you’re staying here or not- it’s highly rated and for good reason.”

So it’s clear that the boys loved their stay here, and also had a fantastic time in the area. They went off and explored our dramatic coastline, including Duncansby Stacks which are large points of rock that look like they are erupting from the sea.
