Visit Taste North Food and Drink Festival

Food lovers – it’s that time of year again, Taste North is coming to Caithness! On Sunday 5th November, Wick will be packed with visitors looking for a taste of northern Scotland, new recipe ideas from top chefs, and lots of tasty samples! The event takes place at Wick High School, so why not take advantage of our Autumn Indulgence offer at nearby Mackays Hotel? Then you can stay locally and continue the culinary delights into the evening, with dinner in our bistro. Chef demonstrations

Watch expert chefs as they whip up something delicious. Learn tips and tricks to try at home and pick up some new recipes to impress your friends.

Family-Friendly Entertainment

Don’t be afraid to bring the whole family along! You’ll find lots for children to do and the day is a fun way for youngsters to learn about the food they eat. Just make sure they stay away from the whisky samples!

Exhibitor’s Market

Everyone’s favourite part – the taste testing! Local producers and eateries will have lots of food and drink to tempt you with. It’s exciting to see how much the north of Scotland has to offer us on a plate! Local artists and makers can also be found at the market, a perfect place to grab a unique Scottish gift.
