Whenever we are up here, there’s only one hotel that we stay in! Murray, and his team, always make every guest feel so at home. The rooms are cosy, hotel well situated, by the river, and the restaurant and bar are fab. Excellent food and a great selection of drinks. Even with the covid restrictions, our stay was still lovely and we will definitely be back!
Whisky tours
Take a tour around Old Putney and see the distinctive process by which they bring their drinks to life. Go behind the scenes and learn how they make one of Scotland’s finest whiskies. Then take a tour around Wolfburn Distillery. See their master craftsmen at work, creating one of Scotland’s finest whisky exports. You’ll get right to the heart and inner workings of Wolfburn on this tour.

With a wide variety of luxury Gin originating in Caithness, we’ll be sure to find something to whet your whistle. Additional tours of Dunnet Distillery are available upon request.
