Play a round at Wick Golf Club
The most northerly links course on the coast of Caithness
Less than 10 minute’s drive from Mackays Hotel, Wick Golf Club is the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf during your stay. This historic club is home to the oldest established course in the Scottish Highlands, dating from 1870. With 9 holes out along the coastline, and 9 back towards the club, this is a classic 18-hole layout. Featuring stunning views over Sinclair Bay across to Noss Head and with unique castles in between, it offers the perfect excuse to experience the far north in all of its glory!
This traditional 18-hole links course features and out-and-back layout. There are 9 holes out along the coast, and 9 back towards the club. Giving a wide variety of challenges, from the exposed rugged coastline to the rolling greens and sand dunes. A hidden gem, in the far north of Scotland, welcoming players of all levels.
We had booked this for the first of a two night stay in Wick. The food was so good we reserved a table for the following evening. The staff were excellent, one member of the team I think called Craig went above and beyond on both evenings to make our meal an experience. Highly recommend
One of the real highlights of a visit to Wick Golf Club is the spectacular scenery that surrounds it. Take in vistas of the bay and white sandy beach, with sparkling waters and historic castles in view.
